Beach Lake Not far from Chugiak High School, Beach Lake has a public launch area for canoes or rowboats. There are some stocked trout here, and berry picking is great in the fall. There are also a couple of cabins for short-term rental. Off of Birchwood Loop Road, take the Chugiak exit from Glenn Hwy.
