Hiking Eagle River is nestled at the edge of the half-million acre Chugach State Park, the third largest state park in the United States. There are miles of great hikes all over these mountains. Try Mount Baldy at the top of Hiland Drive or do anything from a half-mile nature walk to a multi-day trek through the Chugach Range from the Eagle River Nature Center at the end of Eagle River Road.
